I obtained this recipe, many years ago, when it was served at a party. You wouldn't think the ingredients would taste that good together, but they do. Very good! Prep time, doesn't include refrigeration time.

Ingredients For sharon's favorite cheese ball

  • 2 pkg
    (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can
    (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 tsp
    onion flakes
  • 1 tsp
    seasoning salt
  • 3/4 to 1 c
    chopped english walnuts or pecans
  • prep time, doesn't include refrigeration time.

How To Make sharon's favorite cheese ball

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients, except nuts, to make cheese ball. Chop nuts, & press them into the outside of the cheese ball. Refrigerate a few hours or overnight. Serve with assorted crackers.
