This is a cheeseball that Charlotte Jones used to make for us when I worked at Sterlington Memorial Hospital. We never knew what we did to deserve it, but sure did enjoy it.

Ingredients For pineapple cheese ball

16 ozcream cheese, softened

16 ozcrushed pineapple, drained

2 Tbsponion, finely chopped

1/4 cgreen bell pepper, finely chopped

2 cpecans, finely chopped

1/2 Tbsplawry's seasoning salt

1 bunchgreen onions, chopped

8 ozcheddar cheese, shredded
How To Make pineapple cheese ball

1Mix the softened cream cheese with the pineapple, onions, bell pepper, 1/2 cup pecans, grated cheese, and seasoning salt.

2After mixing, place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm.

3Remove from the refrigerator and roll into a ball.

4Cover with remaining pecans. Serve with crackers.
