Ingredients For pigs in a blanket with brie dip

  • eight oz
    wheel of brie
  • 2
    premade pie crusts
  • 1 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 tsp
    chopped fresh parsley
  • 36
    cocktail sausages
  • 1
    egg yolk beaten
  • scatter
    sesame and poppy seeds

How To Make pigs in a blanket with brie dip

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • 2
    Cut off top of Brie and set in the middle of one pie crust.
  • 3
    Sprinkle with the herb and garlic mixture, and put the top back on. Place the second pie crust over the brie.

    Press the pie crust across the top and down the sides of the Brie.

    Cut even sized strips all around the brie, like the sun, making 18 strips.

    Take one sausage, place it on a pie crust strip and roll up. Continue until all the sausages are used up.

    Beat egg yolk and brush over crust, sprinkle the seeds over all.

    Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until golden.
  • Brie seasoned, wrapped in pie crust and cocktail sausages

    Allow to cool 5 to 10 minutes, then cut the top off.
