cornmeal (for dusting pan)

2 csharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 csharp cheddar cold pack cheese, softened

1 cparmesan cheese, grated

1/4 tspgarlic powder

1/4 tspdried oregano
-
1/4 tspground cumin
-
4 lgeggs, beaten
-
1 jar(2-oz) pimentos, sliced
-
1 can(4-oz) jalapenos, drained and chopped

cayenne pepper, to taste
How To Make peppery potluck squares

1Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter a 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle cornmeal in pan, coating pan well.

2Cream cheeses until well-blended; add garlic powder, oregano and cumin. Beat in eggs. Stir in pimentos and jalapeños. Add cayenne pepper; mix ingredients well.

3Spread mixture in pan, smoothing top.

4Bake 30 minutes.

5Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into bite-size cubes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
