This is my version of queso found at a popular mexican restaurant here in Houston... and by now you know how much I LOVE MY CHEESE!!! lol

Ingredients For my version of pappasito's queso

1 1/2 lbamerican cheese, not velveeta

4 ozgreen chiles

1 Tbspgarlic, minced

1/2 conion, diced

1/3 cwhole milk
-
1/2 cdiced ripe tomatoes

1/4 tspgarlic salt
How To Make my version of pappasito's queso

1Melt cheese with milk in a double boiler until blended. Add chiles WITH LIQUID, garlic, onion and garlic salt and stir unil blended. Remove from heat and stir in tomatoes before serving.

2Serve with your favorite tortilla chips!
