This is not one of my easier recipes but is an elegant appetizer for any occasion. Very tasty!

Ingredients For marinated cheese - steph

1 colive oil

1 cred wine vinegar

1/2 csugar (to more to taste); use your judgment

1 smjar pimientos

little fresh parsley
-
1 - 2 tspchopped garlic

1 pkg(whol) colby jack cheese

2 pkg(8 oz.) cream cheese
How To Make marinated cheese - steph

1Step 1 - Marinade: olive oil, red wine vinegar, sugar, pimientos, fresh parsley, chopped garlic; mix all ingredients well.

2Place cream cheese in freezer about 20 minutes to chill. Cut the Colby Jack Cheese and Cream CHeese in half lengthwise. Slice about 1/8" thick. Layer in logs alternating Colby Jack and Cream Cheese.

3Pour 3/4 marinade over the cheese. Chill overnight. Pour remaining marinade over cheeses just before serving. Serve with Wheat Thins. Makes a lot. ENJOY!
