Easy to make, good, and an appetizer that impresses people, at least here in my home town. I got this recipe from a magazine (which one I don't remember) a few years ago.

Ingredients For marinated cheese appetizer

1 lbcheese, cheddar or pepper jack, cut in cubes

1/2 colive oil

1/2 cwhite wine vinegar

3 Tbspchopped fresh parsley

3 Tbspminced fresh green onions

1 tspsugar

1/4 tspdried basil
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspfreshly ground black pepper

3 cloveminced garlic

1 jar(2 ounce) pimentos, drained and chopped
How To Make marinated cheese appetizer

1Buy cubed cheese to make this recipe quick and easy. You can use any cheese you like.

2Place cheese in a large bowl and set aside. Place all remaining ingredients in a jar, place lid on jar tightly and shake to combine everything well. pour marinade over cheese, stir to coat all, cover bowl and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight.

3Arrange cheese on serving tray. Spoon some marinade over all, and serve with toothpicks on side.

4Great with crackers and fresh veggies.
