Ingredients For hot rye appetizers

  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1 cup grated swiss cheese
  • 2/3 cup chopped ripe olives, drained
  • 1/4 cup finely sliced green onion
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 8 oz. loaf cocktail rye bread

How To Make hot rye appetizers

  • 1
    Fry , drain and crumble bacon.

    Mix all ingredients except bread
  • 3
    Spread a rounded teaspoonful of mixture on each slice of bread. Arrange on ungreased baking sheet.

    Bake at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes or til cheese melts and browns slightly.Makes 25 to 30
