My boss' wife gave me this recipe many years ago and we really enjoy it and it looks like you spent a lot of time and effort to make the dip.

Ingredients For hot broccoli dip

11 1/2 lb. round sourdough bread

1/2 cfinely chopped celery

1/2 cchopped red pepper

1/2 cfinely chopped onion

1 Tbspmargarine

1 lbvelveeta cheese, cubed

1 pkg10 oz. frozen chopped broccoli (thawed and drained)

1/4 tspdried rosemary (or thyme)
How To Make hot broccoli dip

1Cut slit from top of bread, remove center leaving 1 inch shell. Cut removed bread into bite size pieces. Cover shell with top. Place on cookie sheet with bread pieces. Bake 350, 15 minutes.

2In skillet, saute celery, peppers and onions in margarine. Reduce heat to low and add cheese. Stir until melted, stirring constantly. Add remaining ingredients. Cook until heated through. Spoon into bread loaf.

3Serve hot with toasted bread pieces,crackers or vegetables. Note: Cheese mixture can be prepared early in the day and microwaved just prior to serving in the bread.
