I love to serve this classic. It is so gooey and yummy when placed on toasted cocktail bread.

Ingredients For hot beef dip

  • 2 8oz pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 c
    chopped green onion
  • 5 oz
    dried chipped beef chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion salt
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1/2 stick
    butter

How To Make hot beef dip

  • 1
    Mix together cream cheese, sour cream and milk til well blended
  • 2
    Add green onion, chipped beef and onion salt
  • 3
    Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish
  • 4
    Place butter and pecans in a heavy frying pan. Heat until slightly soft
  • 5
    Pour over the cheese/beef mixture
  • 6
    Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until bubbly and brown
  • 7
    Serve hot with cocktail bread or crackers
