Ingredients For fried cheese balls

  • 1/4 c
    buttermilk
  • 2
    eggs
  • plain fine bread crumbs
  • your choice of brick cheese; cubed (not too small) (i like mozzarella, sharp cheddar and pepperjack
  • oil for frying

How To Make fried cheese balls

  • 1
    In a small bowl beat eggs and buttermilk together, in another small bowl pour in just the breadcrumbs.

    Dip cheese cube in egg mixture, then in bread crumbs, back into the egg mixture and bread crumbs again, then put in hot oil and fry for several minutes until golden brown; drain on papertowel lined plate
