Ingredients For fig-and-blue cheese tarts

  • 2 (1.9) oz
    packages frozen mini phyllo shells
  • 1/2 c
    fig preserves
  • 1/2 c
    chopped toasted walnuts or pecans
  • 1 (3) oz
    package cream cheese,softened
  • 1 c
    balsamic vinegar
  • 3 oz
    blue cheese, crumbled

How To Make fig-and-blue cheese tarts

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Place phyllo shells in cups of a minature muffin

    In a small bowl,combine fig preserves, walnuts, cream cheese,and blue cheese, stirrinto combine. Spoon mixture into phyllo shells.Bake for 10 minutes.

    In a small saucepan, bring vinegar to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat, and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes or until vinegar is reduced to 1/3 cup. Cool for 10 minutes. Spoon vinegar reduction over tarts. Serve immediately.
