My dear friend Marge makes this recipe when we go sailing on the 4th of July and watch the fireworks. She is a fabulous cook and this is a favorite. Enjoy!

Ingredients For fancy cheese ball

2 pkg8 oz. cream cheese
-
1/3 ccrosse+blackwell major grey chutney-use only a fresh jar

1/2 cpeanuts chopped in small pieces

1 1/2 tspcurry powder

1/2 pkgcoconut
-
1 bunchchop green onions using the green and white sections
How To Make fancy cheese ball
-
1set out cream cheese to soften @ room temperature

2put coconut on cookie sheet and toast @350 leaving the oven door open about 6 inches until it's golden brown- keep an eye on it

3chop peanuts real fine-use a rolling pin to roll over small pieces but not into a powder

4add all ingredients except coconut and stir in bowl

5separate coconut leaving enough to roll the cheese ball in- add the rest of the coconut to the bowl and stir

6form the ingredients into a ball and then roll the ball in coconut to coat

7put into the refrigerator-taking out one hour before serving

8you can make this recipe ahead of time-it will last two days in the refrigerator

9eat with your favorite crackers enjoy!
