This came from "Schertz~Cibolo Valley Lioness Club" cookbook (of which I was a member) I have used this since 1975 and even my vegie friends like it.

Ingredients For crock pot dip

  • 1 lb
    regular sausage (like jimmy dean or owens)
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 lb
    american cheese (cut up into small pieces)
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup - undiluted
  • 1 can
    rotel tomatoes (i use original)

How To Make crock pot dip

  • 1
    Brown sausage and beef in skillet. I use inexpensive beef - but BE SUR TO DRAIN OFF THE GREASE
  • 2
    Pour into crockpot and add rest of ingredients
  • 3
    Stir and cook on low (for about one hour)
  • 4
    Serve with chips - Frito scoops or tostado scoops (potato chips not strong enough)
