These are so easy and tasty. As good as a restaurant! Adjust the sugar to your preference and put in as much or as little crab. Imitation crab works great with this! So much cheaper than crab meat same taste. 1 pack of cream cheese makes about 15 good gooey ones using half the wrapper. You can make using smaller amount of filling. It's up to you.

Ingredients For crab rangoon

  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1 stalk
    green onion
  • 1/4 -1/2 c
    crab meat or imitation crab
  • 1 pkg
    wonton , eggroll wrappers
  • oil
  • 1- 2 tsp
    sugar

How To Make crab rangoon

    Dice onion and crabmeat

    Mix in with room temp cream cheese and sugar You can adjust the sugar to preference. Some like it sweeter some just a good pinch of. Add in small incriminate until you hit your sweet spot

    I cut my wraps in half ...a triangle. Fill with a small spoon of the mixture

    Have a small bowl of water and wet fingers and run around the edge of wrap. Pull corners up pinch the folds together. The water will help them stick. Make sure it's sealed

    Heat oil ...once good and hot drop each Rangoon in and flip to brown all sides. Place on rack to drain or on towels

    Serve with hot mustard and duck sauce .. or eat alone!
