Ingredients For classic swiss fondue

2 cdry white wine
-
1 lbswiss chees, cubed

3 Tbspcherry brandy or dry white wine

3 Tbspall purpose flour
-
1 clovegarlic
-
1 dasheach white pepper, paprika, and ground nutmeg

1/8 tspbaking soda
-
1loaf french bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
How To Make classic swiss fondue

1Bring wine to a boil. Place cheese, brandy, flour, garlic and seasonings in blender or food processor. Add wine. Cover and process until smooth. Transfer to a fondue pot. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture is hot and bubbly. Add baking soda; mix well. Keep fondue at a gentle simmer over low heat. Serve with bread.
