This is the finger food that I took to the tailgating get together this weekend. Hadn't made them in a while and had about 6 people request the recipe, the sign of a popular recipe.

Ingredients For chinese-style chicken pizza appetizer

3 pkgcrescent rolls

3 cchicken, cooked and shredded

5green onion tops, sliced

1 1/2 lbcream cheese, room temperature

3 Tbspsoy sauce

2 Tbspsesame oil

1 tspgarlic powder with parsley

3 tsphot sauce (i use sriracha)

3 cbaby spinach, coarsley chopped

3/4 cred bell pepper, diced

1 ccarrot, shredded
-
3/4 cpeanuts, coarsely chopped

1 Tbspsesame seeds, toasted

sweet and sour sauce or duck sauce, optional

1/2 ccilantro, fresh, chopped for garnish
How To Make chinese-style chicken pizza appetizer

1Preheat oven to 375-degrees. Unroll crescent rolls and piece together on a jelly roll baking sheet. Pinch seams together and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and sesame seeds. Bake crust for 12-14 minutes, or until crust is lightly browned. Remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes while you mix the topping.

2In food processor fitted with blade, process green onions until finely minced. Add chicken and pulse until chicken is finely diced. Add cream cheese, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder and hot sauce. Process until mixture is smooth and creamy. Spread cream cheese mixture on prepared crust. Top with spinach, carrots, red pepper, peanuts and sesame seeds. Drizzle with sweet and sour sauce. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours. Cut into squares to serve.
