This aren't your typical Chili Rellenos where you stuff a pepper, dip it in egg, batter and fry it. They are more of a finger food appetizer type treat and boy are they good. Recipe from my mama.

Ingredients For chili rellenos-annette's

  • 10-12 slice
    mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/2-2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 can
    green chilies, drained
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How To Make chili rellenos-annette's

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 9x13 pan with Pam.

    Line pan with 5-6 slices or mozzarella cheese. Pour one can chilies on top of cheese. Repeat steps ending with second can of chilies.

    Beat eggs, mix with milk, flour and salt. Pour over chilies and cheese. Top with cheddar cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into small squares. Enjoy!
