Ingredients For cassies best loaded french bread

  • 1 loaf
    french bread
  • 10 - 12 slice
    mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 - 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 pkg
    lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 lb
    thick sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 - 1 c
    green or red bell pepper ( i used closer to 1 cup )
  • 1/2 - 1 c
    onion, chopped ( i used close to 1 cup )
  • few pinch
    parsley flakes
  • 2 - 3 Tbsp
    butter, softened

How To Make cassies best loaded french bread

    Preheat oven to 300 degree F. Cut the loaf of French bread lengthwise. Butter bread lightly.

    Mix cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, onion soup mix and mayonnaise, with an electric mixer, until smooth.

    Spread onto the loaf of bread thickly. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

    Next, the peppers and onions.

    Top evenly with the sliced cheese. Sprinkle with parsley flakes.

    Bake 40 - 45 minutes or until bread is crunchy and cheese is bubbly. I added some hot pepper flakes to mine...yum!
