WE LOVED THIS PIZZA ANYTIME BUT LIKE TO CUT IT IN SMALL SQUARES FOR APPETIZERS. I WOULD DOUBLE THIS RECIPE FOR NEW YEARS EVE WITH THE FAMILY SITTING AROUND THE FIRE.

Ingredients For carol's mexican pizza

1 Tbsprefrigerated pizza crust dough [ i use pillsburys]

2 Tbspcornmeal

1 lbground beef, cooked and drained

1 Tbsptaco seasoning mix

7 ozbottle taco sauce

1 1/2 cshredded mexican or kolby jack cheese, divided

1 ccheddar cheese, shredded- divided
-
1/4green onions, sliced
-
1 can[2.25 oz]- sliced black olives, drained

1 canchopped green chiles, drained
How To Make carol's mexican pizza

1PREHEAT OVEN TO 425 DEGREES

2AFTER DRAINING THE COOKED HAMBURGER, SPRINKLE AND STIR IN THE TACO SEASONING; SET ASIDE.

3GREASE A 9X13 BAKING DISH; SPRINKLE WITH THE CORNMEAL.

4PRESS DOUGH OUT INTO THE PREPARED PAN. [IT'S MUCH EASIER TO PRESS A PILLSBURY DOUGH IN A 9X13,THEN TRYING TO FIT IT ON A ROUND PIZZA PAN].

5SPREAD TACO SAUCE WITHIN 1 INCH OF EDGE.

6SPRINKE WITH 1/2 OF MEXICAN AND CHEDDAR CHEESES.

7TOP IN ORDER: THE HAMBURG, ONIONS, BLACK OLIVES AND CHILES.

8SPRINKLE ON THE REMAINING CHEESES.

9BAKE FOR 17-22 MINUTES OR UNTIL CRUST IS GOLDEN BROWN.

10CUT INTO APPETIZERS OR SERVING PIECES.... ENJOY

11NOTE: THO NOT MEXICAN, I ALSO LIKE TO ADD A CAN OF SLICED MUSHROOMS [4 OZ], DRAINED. ALSO EXTRA CHEESE AT TIMES.
