I received this recipe from a co-worker back in the 80's. It's a "Mans" kind of appetizer!

Ingredients For canapes

1 lbground beef
-
1 lbhot italian sausage
-
1/2 tspworcestershire sauce

1/2 tsporegano, dried

1/2 tspgarlic salt

dashblack pepper

1 lbvalveeta cheese, melted

2 pkgparty rye bread
How To Make canapes

1Brown hamburger and sausage in skillet. Drain.

2Add remaining ingredients except rye bread. Spoon meat mixture on top of party rye slices. Place on cookie sheets and freeze. Place frozen canapes into freezer bags to be ready for future use.

3To use: place frozen slices under broiler about 5-6 minutes. When top bubbles, canapes are ready to serve. Watch closely to prevent burning.
