A friend gave me this recipe and it quickly became a favorite on Sundays when watching football.

Ingredients For buffalo chicken dip

  • 3
    chicken breast cutlets, thick
  • 1 bottle
    hot sauce, your favorite brand
  • 1 jar
    marie's blue cheese dressing
  • 2 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened

How To Make buffalo chicken dip

    Boil checken gently for about one hours. Then let sit in teh water for 45 minutes.

    Discard the water and shred chicken in the pot. Mix with the bottle of hot sauce. Simmer on the stove for 10-15 minutes.

    You can put this together two ways. First way: mix cream cheese, blue cheese dressing and 1/2 cup of mozzarella in with the chicken and hot sauce. Then pour into a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella.

    Second way: Layer in a baking dish - cream cheese on the bottom. Chicken with hot sauce, then pour blue cheese dressing over top and cover with mozzarella cheese.

    Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. You can make in advance and then cook before ready to serve. I serve with Scoops or Tortilla chips and celery.
