I can't remember where I found this recipe, but this is the best thing with sliced bread...or crackers...or pita chips...well you get the idea. The butter and cream cheese ratio is important, the seasonings should be whatever pleases you and your family.

Ingredients For boursin cheese

8 ozcream cheese

2 Tbspbutter, unsalted

2 tspdill, dried

1/2 tspgarlic powder

1/2 tsppeppercorns, tricolored fresh ground

1/4 tsppaprika, sweet mild

dried ground rosemary, to taste

salt to taste
How To Make boursin cheese

1Bring cream cheese and butter to room temperature. Beat together with electric mixer on low, until thoroughly mixed.

2Add herbs and spices, one at a time mix well after each addition (except for salt). Test flavor of spread, then add salt a pinch at a time.

3Chill, serve with favorite delivery system. My family prefers french baguette slices.

4The seasonings can be changed easily: use herb de provence, or salt free greek seasoning, or salt free creole seasoning, or fajita seasoning, or...whatever your favorite flavors are.
