This can be frozen ahead of time then broiled. Freeze on cookie sheets,then place in large freezer bags until ready to use.

Ingredients For black olive spread

  • 1 can
    (4.5oz)pitted ripe olives,chopped
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped onion
  • 2 1/2 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb
    bacon,fried and crumbled (or bacon bits)
  • 1
    loaf party rye or pumpernickel

How To Make black olive spread

    Mix 1st 4 ingredients. spread mixture on 1 loaf party Rye or Pumpernickle.

    Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.Can be frozen at this time
