    brie cheese (rind on)
  • 1
    egg beaten well
  • 1/2 c
    pecans chopped well
  • 1 c
    your favorite jam or jelly( i used prickly pear)

How To Make baked brie with pecans and prickly pear jelly

    PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 350. LINE A BAKING PAN WITH FOIL AND USE A NON STICK SPRAY. SET ASIDE.

    BEAT YOUR EGG IN A BOWL THAT WILL HOLD THE ENTIRE ROUND OF CHEESE. DIP YOUR BRIE IN THE EGG MIXTURE MAKING SURE TO COAT ALL SIDES WELL. DIP THE BRIE IN THE NUTS COVERING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. PLACE THE BRIE ON THE BAKING DISH. COVER THE TOP OF THE BRIE WITH YOUR FAVORITE JELLY OR JAM...I PILE MINE ON HIGH. BAKE FOR 25 MINUTES.

    TRANSFER TO PLATE BEFORE CUTTING INTO THE CHEESE. THE CHEESE WILL OOZE OUT THEN CUT INTO. YOU CAN PLACE IT BACK IN THE OVEN IF ITS NOT WARM ENOUGH. SERVE WITH CRACKERS AND ENJOY
