had this as a kid every yr for x-mas... i still make it today but not jus at x-mas..thismakes great appitizer served with buttery crackers

Ingredients For bacon cheese ball

  • 1 1/2 lb
    hickory bacon
  • 1 jar
    prepared horseradish
  • 3 pkg
    [8 oz each] softened cream cheese
  • several dash
    liquid smoke flavoring
  • parsley flakes
  • buttery crackers

How To Make bacon cheese ball

    cut bacon into very small pieces...fry til extra crisp

    will bacon cooks...mix orseradish and cream cheese... when bacon is done add to cream cheese[use slotted spoon but is ok for some grease to go into cream cheese,it adds more bacon flavor] taste... add liquid smoke as needed..shape into ball put in fridge

    before servin roll in parsley flakes put on nice platter and put crackers around it...
