This is one of my favorite hoiday hors 'doeuvres. My Aunt Janice makes this for every holiday gathering & there is NONE left. I love the contrast of the bitter/pungent sharp cheddar & the heat from the tobasco.

Ingredients For aunt janice's cheeseball

8 ozblock cracker barrell sharp cheddar, grated

1 lgpackage cream cheese, at room temp

1/4 cfinely chopped onion

2 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1/2 tspsalt

1 tsplemon juice
-
2 tspsugar

2 dashtobasco, or more to taste

chopped pecans for coating
How To Make aunt janice's cheeseball

1Stir together all ingredients except pecans.

2Shape into ball.

3Chill till firm & roll in pecans.

4Keep refrigerated till served.

5We like to serve this with Sociables crackers.

6She insists it has to be Cracker Barrell brand sharp cheddar also.
