Ingredients For mom’s tasty guacamole

  • 3 lg
    ripe avocados, pitted and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 sm
    red onion, minced
  • 1/4 c
    fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh lime juice
  • 1 sm
    jalapeño chile, stemmed, seeded and minced
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt

How To Make mom’s tasty guacamole

  • 1
    Mash 2 of the avocados to a relatively smooth puree using a fork in a medium bowl.

    Fold the cubed avocado and the remaining ingredients into the mashed avocado.

    The guacamole can be refrigerated, in an airtight container with plastic wrap touching the entire surface of the guacamole, for up to 24 hours.
