Ingredients For garlicky white bean dip

1 can white beans, rinsed and drained, 15 oz

4 to 5 cloves garlic, sliced

1/4 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. ground black pepper

1/4 to 1/3 cup olive oil

1/4 cup snipped fresh basil, optional
-
pinch crushed red pepper, optional
-
1 tsp. olive oil
-
assorted fresh vegetables

toasted baguette slices
How To Make garlicky white bean dip

1In food processor, mix white beans, garlic, salt and pepper. With machine running, drizzle in enough of the 1/4 to 1/3 cup olive oil to make desired consistency.

2If desired, stir in basil and sprinkle with crushed red pepper. Drizzle with 1 tsp. olive oil. Serve with vegetables and baguette. Note: the garlic flavor will increase the longer the dip stands.
