These are a very tasty appetizer or anytime snack...I first made them for a New Years Eve party, and got rave reviews...I adapted this recipe from a ham type pinwheel my Aunt always made...my family has come to love this one even better... Enjoy!

Ingredients For tasty crab n cream cheese pinwheels

1 - 8 ozcream cheese, softened

6 - 8 ozimitation crab - or crab meat - chopped or shredded

1/2 csweet red pepper, diced small

3green onion, chopped - plus tops

1/2 cshredded, cheddar cheese

1/4 cfresh parsley, chopped or dried
-
1 tsphot pepper sauce
-
chilipowder to taste

garnishwith paprika

5 - 66 inch flour tortilla's
How To Make tasty crab n cream cheese pinwheels

1In a medium sized bowl; beat cream cheese until smooth. Fold in the parsley, red pepper, sauce, onion, cheese and crab. Sprinkle with desired chili powder.

2Lay out your tortilla's Spread about 1/4 cup onto each tortilla.

3Roll tightly. I cut the ends with kitchen shears.

4Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours.

5Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Slice each roll into 5 - 6 slices and place on a sprayed baking sheet.

6Bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle with paprika and enjoy!
