I was at a Christmas party many moons ago, and the party was catered by an Italian restaurant. They served a bacon wrapped shrimp that was to die for, from that day, I was determined to make a recipe that was close to that tasty morsel I had that night.

Ingredients For greek bacon wrapped shrimp

  • 1/8 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 lb
    shrimp, peeled and deveined,colossal size
  • 2 Tbsp
    greek seasoning, divided
  • 2 tsp
    crushed pepper flakes, divided
  • 1 lb
    good quality bacon

How To Make greek bacon wrapped shrimp

    Preheat oven to 400'
  • 2
    Cover the shrimp with the olive oil
  • 3
    Add 1 tablespoon of Greek seasoning and 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Set aside.

    Take bacon strips and cut in half.

    Wrap shrimp in half slice of bacon. Mix remaining Greek seasoning and pepper flakes and roll wrapped shrimp in mixture. You may need more seasoning.

    Place in 13 x 9 baking dish and broil for 15-20 minutes or until done. Enjoy!!
