Blue Ribbon Recipe
Served with crackers, this crab and roasted red pepper spread will be a great addition to your next get-together. Using canned crab makes a thrifty and easy snack. The sweet roasted red peppers are in every bite and add some texture. There's a bit of a kick from the tabasco that we loved. If you don't like things spicy, cut back on that a bit.

Ingredients For crab and roasted pepper spread

1 pkgcream cheese, softened (8 oz)

1/3 cmayonnaise

16 ozcanned lump meat crab, remove any shell fragments

1/3 cjarred roasted pepper, drained/chopped

1 tsponion powder
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 lglemon, zested and juiced

1/4 tsptabasco sauce
How To Make crab and roasted pepper spread

1Place all of the ingredients in a medium-sized bowl.

2Mix, by hand, with a large spoon.

3When well mixed, transfer to a crock. Cover and chill well. Serve cold with your favorite cracker(s) and/or toast points.
