Ingredients For baked fish chowder

1 lbhaddock or cod, cut in bite-size pieces
-
1 lbscallops
-
3 cdiced peeled potatoes or 8 small unpeeled red potatoes, diced

1medium- size onion , sliced

1/4 cwhite wine
-
2 cwater
-
1/4 c1/2 stick of butter
-
1/4 call purpose white flour
-
2 clight cream or milk
-
salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
How To Make baked fish chowder

1Preheat oven to 350 F In a 9" x 13" pan. combine fish, scallops, potatoes, onion, wine, and water.

2Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

3Melt butter in medium size saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the flour to make a paste. Add the cream or milk and stir until thickened. Add to the baking pan along with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cover and continue baking for another 30 minutes. Stir well before serving.
