This is another twist on an old Family Favorite recipe. The crumbled REAL BACON BITS gives this recipe it's unique flavor. It is a great way to put a new spin on an old favorite. It is a simple and easy recipe and quite tasty. You may want a creamier recipe by adding extra mayonnaise. You can also use Miracle Whip Salad Dressing if desired. I prefer Mayonnaise for the extra flavor it packs and adds to the recipe. You can garnish with what ever you prefer, Black olives, parsley sprigs, Green olives, or leave them plain. We loved the flavor with the added bacon. Easy on the salt.

How To Make bacon & eggs-deviled eggs

  • 1
Boil eggs as desired, allow to cool in cold water, then peel, cut in half. Scoop out the yolks. This is most of the ingredients used to make the recipe.
  • 2
Add the yolks to a medium size bowl. Break up with a fork. Then add the prepared mustard, horseradish, lemon pepper, relish that has been drained or squeezed dry,add parmesan cheese, & pepper if desired. Mix well together, then add the mayonnaise, add more if a creamier consistency is desired. Then add the real bacon bits and stir again. Add pickle relish, and blend into the egg mixture. Taste first before you add salt, because of the parmesan cheese and bacon. Then add salt if needed.

When desired consistency is reached, spoon mixture evenly into the hallow egg whites. Garnish as desired, I used chopped chive, bits of red bell pepper, & a tiny sprinkling of paprika. Having real Bacon bits is a real time saver, I use them in many different casseroles, egg dishes, omelets, and vegetables, for added flavor.
