This is my "go-to" recipe for when we get the craving for guacamole and tortilla chips. My youngest son always says his mom's guacamole is the best, so you can bet I make it for him... but, other family members agree. This is a great guacamole recipe. I am sure you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Joyce's mango twist on guacamole is delicious. Little bits of sweet bits of mango combined with the avocado are refreshing. The jalapeno does not make this spicy. If you like your guacamole on the spicier side, definitely add more. This guac has a creamy texture that pairs well with salty, crunchy tortilla chips.

Ingredients For mango jalapeno guacamole

  • 2 lg
    ripe avocados
  • 1 sm
    fresh mango
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced onion, yellow or red depending on your preference
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced jalapeno
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    lime juice

How To Make mango jalapeno guacamole

  • Chunks of avocado in a bowl with salt and pepper.

    Peel avocados and place them in a bowl. Mash with a fork. Add salt and pepper to taste... your preference as to how much.
  • Chunks of mango added to the avocado.

    Peel the mango and cut it into slices. Place on cutting board and chop into small pieces. Add to avocado in bowl.
  • Onion, lime juice, and jalapeno added to bowl.

    Add minced onion, lime juice, and jalapeno to the mixture in bowl. Blend well.
  • Mango Jalapeno Guacamole on a tortilla chip.

    Remove the mixture from the bowl and place it in a nice serving dish. Sprinkle with minced cilantro. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
