A family recipe for the very best game day cocktail appetizer meatballs. Easy enough to double for larger, rowdy, hungry crowds... like mine on Packer game day! =)

Ingredients For the best darn game day meatballs
- MEATBALLS

1lb. ground chuck

1egg, beaten

1/2cup dry breadcrumbs

1small onion, minced

1tsp. dried parsley flakes

1tb. worcestershire sauce

1/2tsp. salt
-
1/4tsp. pepper

1/2tsp. garlic powder
- SAUCE

2cups ketchup (a thick, slow pouring ketchup will produce a delicious sauce that will cling to meatballs. a thin ketchup will result in a thin sauce.)

1cup firmly packed brown sugar

1tb. worcestershire sauce
How To Make the best darn game day meatballs

1Meatballs: Combine all ingredients in a large ziplock bag. Mix until just well blended. Shape into 1" balls. Place on parchment lined, rimmed cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through.

2For Sauce: Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook until hot and blended. Add meatballs; heat through. Serve hot with cocktail picks.
