I have been using this recipe since 1970's. I love it because It's an easy recipe and will makes a nice meal by adding a salad. It is usually requested when my children come to visit.

Ingredients For round steak casserole

  • 1
    round steak cubed
  • 1 can
    campbell's beef broth
  • 1 can
    mushrooms, canned bits $ pieces
  • 1 md
    onion chopped
  • 2 stick
    butter
  • 1 c
    uncooked rice( not instant)
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    salt

How To Make round steak casserole

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut steak into cubes. Put oil in skillet to heat. Flour the cubed steak and brown in oil.

    While the steak is browning, place 1whole stick butter in a 11x13 baking pan and place in oven until melted.

    When butter is melted remove from oven and add the steak,beef broth, mushrooms,chopped onion, and rice. Stir to mix together.

    Seal with foil tightly and place back in oven. Bake 1hour NO PEEKING!
