We are trying to cut down on the starches we eat, and just eat healthier in general. My daughter thought of these and my husband came up with the glaze. Delicious!

Ingredients For grilled fruit skewers with blueberry glaze

2-3apples
-
2-3bosc pears

(or fresh fruit of your choosing)

1/4 cfresh blueberries

1-2 Tbspbalsamic vinegar (or use blackberry brandy)

1 tspcorn starch
How To Make grilled fruit skewers with blueberry glaze

1Cut the fruit into large chunks, to fit on a skewer. Alternate fruit pieces on the skewer.

2Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, cook blueberries & balsamic over very low heat. As the blueberries cook, use a small whisk to break up most of the berries to release more juice.

3After it cooks down a bit, sprinkle in the corn starch to thicken it enough to cling to the fruit a bit while grilling.

4Grill until fruit is soft & slightly browned, turning often.
