I used fresh jalapenos and removed the seeds and it made the salsa very mild. If you like heat leave them in. I have never used can jalapenos, so I don't know how good it would be. If you like cranberries, you will like this.

Ingredients For cranberry salsa

1 cwater

1 csugar
-
1 12- ozbag fresh or frozen cranberries

1/4 cfresh cilantro
-
2 Tbspchopped canned or fresh jalapeno peppers

1/4 tspground cumin

1green onion, white and green parts, sliced

1 tsplime juice
How To Make cranberry salsa

1Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Add cranberries; return to boil. Gently boil cranberries for 10 minutes without stirring.

2Pour into a medium glass mixing bowl. Gently stir in remaining ingredients. Place a piece of plastic wrap directly on salsa.

3Cool at room temperature and refrigerate. Best if served at room temperature. Makes about 21/2 cups.
