This is my mother's most requested recipe from her friends. I'm so glad she shared it with me.

Ingredients For olive cheese ball

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 c
    spanish olives, chopped (large pieces)
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive juice (from jar)
  • 1 c
    walnuts, chopped (separated)

How To Make olive cheese ball

  • 1
    Mix the cream cheese, mayo, chopped Spanish olives and 1/2 cup of walnuts together.

    Add olive juice 1 T at a time. Can add up to 3 T. This adds so much flavor, but be careful not to get it too wet.

    Form into a ball and chill 8 hours.

    Roll ball in 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
  • 5
    Serve with crackers.
