These cheese crisps are indeed incredible! We loved the crunchy outer edges and ooey, gooey cheesy center. Mixed with the aromatic flavors of garlic and onion, this is an easy recipe that everyone will love. They'll be perfect at a holiday party or if you're looking for a simple appetizer recipe when having friends over. You can easily double or triple the recipe if serving a crowd.

Ingredients For incredible cheese crisps

  • 1 1/2 c
    Italian blend shredded cheese
  • 1/2 c
    shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1
    roma tomato (sliced very thin)
  • 2/3 c
    diced ham
  • 1/4 c
    red onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    parsley, chopped

How To Make incredible cheese crisps

  • Parchment paper lined baking sheet sprayed with non-stick spray.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and spray the paper with no-stick spray. If you don't spray with no-stick spray they WILL stick, so it's very important.
  • Piles of cheese on baking sheet with tomato on top.

    Make small piles of cheese using 1-1 1/2 Tbsp of Italian blend cheese for each pile. Spread flat. Press sliced tomatoes between two paper towels to remove moisture and place one slice on each pile.
  • Ham and onion sprinkled on top of tomato.

    Place 1 tsp of diced ham on each tomato and a few pieces of onion. Press down slightly to keep piles a little flat. Sprinkle with garlic powder.
  • More cheese added on top.

    Top with remaining Italian cheese blend and then Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with parsley.
  • Baking cheese in the oven.

    Bake for 12-13 minutes until crispy golden brown. Cool slightly, remove from pan and serve warm or cold.
