This is a recipe from our cousin Ann or as we know her (Evelyn) :-)

Ingredients For evelyn's cheeseball

1 lbsharp cheddar cheese, grated

8 ozcream cheese,softened

2 Tbspmayonnaise

1/8 tspgarlic salt

1/8 tspsalt

1 cchopped nuts (of course i use pecans)

1 cfinely chopped nuts (lightly toasted) this step is optional
How To Make evelyn's cheeseball

1Mix all together and form into a ball. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate a few hours or overnight. Serve with your favorite crackers. (note will have to guess at measurement for garlic salt and salt--I eyeball half of a 1/4 teaspoon when measuring the spices.

2OPTIONAL STEP--If you want the appearance to be a little more attractive, I suggest rolling the ball in about a cup of finely chopped nuts (you can lightly toast them)
