Thanksgiving is one of everyone’s favorite holidays. It celebrates two of the greatest things in life, food and people you love. It is a day that revolves around a dinner table full of family and friends and delicious food, a day to be thankful for
Start the day off right with some delicious appetizers to keep your guests satisfied while you get the meal ready. Prosuitto stuffed mushrooms are a wonderful small bite. Not hugely filling, but huge in flavor.
Brie en croute is a fabulous sweet and savory appetizer. Serveit on a platter with other cheese, crackers, and fruit.
Creamy butternut squash soup is a great first course. In-season butternut squash are at the peak of their sweetness and flavor. Make it a day ahead and save yourself some time.
Paula’s rum glazed turkey is the perfect centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table. The brown sugar, spices and dark rum create a wonderful crisp skin with fantastic flavor. Serve it with the sweet and nutty buttery chestnut and apple stuffing.
It’s not Thanksgiving without mashed potatoes. Paula’s garlic mashed potatoes are fluffy and creamy with a delicious garlic flavor, a twist on the classic.
