Ingredients For chunky peanut bread

  • 2 c
    sifted flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt or to taste
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c
    sugar or prefered sweetening of choice to equal amount
  • 1/4 c
    milk, dairy or other
  • 2 Tbsp
    prefered fat or oil
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1 c
    coarsely chopped peanuts

How To Make chunky peanut bread

    Sift the dry ingredients together
  • 2
    Work the fat (or oil) into the mixture
  • 3
    Beat the egg with the milk, and stir into the mixture
  • 4
    Finally, add the chopped peanuts to the mix and blend everything together
  • 5
    Pour the mix into a lightly greased loaf pan and bake in a moderate oven (350o F or 180o C) for about an hour
