Ingredients For oriental coleslaw

  • 1 pkg
    coleslaw mix
  • 1/2 c
    sunflower seeds
  • 2 pkg
    ramen noodles, chicken flavor
  • 1/3 c
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, sliced thinly
  • 1 c
    almonds, slivered, toasted

How To Make oriental coleslaw

    Toast almonds:coat a nonstick pan with pan spray, heat pan and add almonds, stir occasionally until lightly toasted, cool. Or, if you can find them already prepared, go for it.

    Crush the Ramen noodles. Add the crushed Ramen noodles, coleslaw, sunflower seeds and almonds together in a large bowl.

    Dressing:mix the vinegar and sugar in a small bowl, add the packets of chicken flavor from the Ramen noodles and wisk together until creamy. Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss and serve. If you are taking this somewhere, you do not want to add the dressing until you get there, otherwise it will be a little mushy.
