1 bottle (12-ounces) Mexican-style beer**

2 cups chicken or vegetable broth

1 teaspoon dried oregano
•
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
•
2 bay leaves
•
1 can (4-ounces) diced green chiles*

2 cans (10-ounces each) diced tomatoes with green chiles (we used Rotel Mild)

1 small chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, minced
