A good pot luck salad(that's where I found this recipe), also Dad loves this.

Ingredients For broccoli salad

  • DRESSING
  • 1/2 c
    miracle whip
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • SALAD
  • 1 lg
    head of broccoli
  • 8 oz
    sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 c
    diced red onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    sunflower seeds
  • 6 oz
    canadian bacon
  • 1/4 c
    golden raisins

How To Make broccoli salad

    Mix dressing together in a bowl until smooth. Taste-just to see if it needs a little extra vinegar or sugar( you can also use a store bought coleslaw dressing)

    Rinse off broccoli, drain, cut off the majority of the large stem, make very small flowerettes by cutting the stems until you get to the broccoli and making it smaller and smaller. You can also use part of the stem part. I just cut it into very small pieces.

    Add the broccoli and the rest of the ingredients, toss, refrigerate until ready to use.
