Ingredients For pulled pork

pork shoulder butt

brown sugar
-
pork rub

salt and pepper

ketchup

mustard

barbecue sauce

soda pop

How To Make pulled pork

1Season pork with brown sugar, pork rub, salt and pepper. Cover pork about half way with a mixture of ketchup, mustard, barbecue, minced garlic and soda pop.

2Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Occasionally open and spoon some of the liquid on top.of the pork. I usually do it every hour if I'm at home. If not, it's not a big deal. I also usually flip it half way through.

3Remove pork when tender. The way to tell is stick a fork into it and if the pork pulls off, it is usually done. It takes about 6 to 8 hours depending on size. Take the liquid and strain it through the strainer. Use the liquid as sauce. Shred the pork.
