ole fashioned cucumbers
I learned how to make these at a very young age. We always had them in the summer, especially when we had fresh cucumbers. Of course, nothing was measured and I still do not measure, just guess and taste, but I measured for you in this recipe. This is how my Grandma and Mom made them, also Dad's family made them like this, too.

1/4 conion, diced

3 Tbspsugar or other sweetner

1 1/2 Tbspapple cider vinegar

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make ole fashioned cucumbers

1Wash cucumbers, peel if purchased from store (you do not want to eat the wax that is put on them) cut cucumbers thin

2Place cucumbers in a bowl with the onion. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, add sugar and vinegar. Stir, cover and let sit for about an hour. Stir before serving.
