This is so good-I have taken this to office parties and other celebrations. Something I have not tried and that is to use fresh herbs if you have them

Ingredients For spinach dip

  • 1 pkg
    hidden valley ranch mix
  • 2 c
    sour cream
  • 1 pkg
    spinach, frozen, chopped, cooked, drained
  • 2 Tbsp
    onions, finely diced
  • 3/4 tsp
    basil, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 can
    water chestnuts, diced
  • 1
    sourdough bread, round, not sliced

How To Make spinach dip

  • 1
    Mix the ranch mix, sour cream, spinach, onion, basil, oregano, and water chestnuts in a bowl, Chill
  • 2
    Cut off the top of the bread, hollow out with spoon, cube the bread that you took out of the bowl
  • 3
    Place the chilled dip in the bread bowl and place on a serving platter add the remaining cubes around the bowl to use with the dip, serve and enjoy
